KL is a food lover's dream city
The food scene here is just on another level. Jalan Alor at night is pure madness in the best way - grilled seafood, satay, cold drinks, everything. Prices are so reasonable and the variety is insane. Easily one of the best eating cities I've ever been to.
Great city break with so much to see
KL really delivered. The Petronas Towers are even more impressive up close than in photos. Getting around is easy with the MRT and it's super affordable. The mix of old and new buildings makes every street feel interesting. Loved every bit of it.
Shopping paradise - seriously
Bukit Bintang alone could keep you busy for days. Malls everywhere, street stalls, local boutiques - all within walking distance of each other. Prices are great and the range of stuff you can find is wild. Perfect for anyone who loves a good shop around.
Loved the cultural side of the city
Batu Caves was a highlight - the colours, the climb, the scale of it all. The city has so many different cultural pockets to explore and each one feels genuinely distinct. Local people are warm and welcoming. Definitely a city with real character.
Nasi lemak changed my life a little bit
I know that sounds dramatic but the nasi lemak here is something else. Had it multiple times throughout the trip and it never got old. The city itself is busy and lively without being overwhelming. Really good value destination overall.
Solid city trip - way more going on than expected
Came for a long weekend and ended up wishing I'd booked more days. Chinatown around Petaling Street is colourful and full of energy, especially in the evenings. Food is cheap, transport is easy, and there is genuinely loads to do. Ticked a lot of boxes.
